5 INGREDIENT ASIAN STYLE BEEF & NOODLES

Let’s face it.  There are some days, actually many days that we just don’t feel like cooking a big, complicated meal (although the one below looks delish!).  It’s been a long day and you’re tired.  Your brain and your body are just done for the day.

It’s nice to have a one pot fully loaded meal that has only a few ingredients, is prepped and cooked quickly and simply.

This IS that meal.  I actually based meal this on one of my Grandmother’s recipes and tweeked it a little.  It’s SO easy and So yummy.  You’ll love it!  

Here’s what you’ll need to make it:

1 LB GROUND BEEF or GROUND TURKEY

2 PKGS INSTANT ORIENTAL FLAVOR RAMEN NOODLES

2 CUPS FROZEN VEGETABLE MIXTURE

¼ TSP GARLIC POWDER

1/4 CUP THINLY SLICED ONION

In a large nonstick skillet, brown meat over medium-high heat 10-12 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, breaking up into ¼”pieces.  Remove with slotted spoon to a bowl and pour off drippings.

In the same skillet, combine 2 1/2 cups of water, vegetables, noodles (broken up), garlic powder and ramen seasoning packets.

Bring to a boil and then reduce heat.  Cover, and simmer 5-6 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.

Return beef to skillet and stir in onion.  Makes 4 servings (2 if you eat like my husband )
