I know that I’m super late to the game on this eyeshadow palette but I’m going to review it just in case it reaches someone who is not aware of it. At the beginning of 2016, Gwen Stefani (former lead singer of the band – No Doubt), came out with an eyeshadow palette along with a blush palette and several lip products in collaboration with Urban Decay.
This palette claims to be “A limited edition eye shadow palette created and developed with Gwen Stefani and loaded with her 15 must-have shades.”
If you are an Urban Decay fan and have seen or have or tried out the Naked 3 palette (selling for $54 at Sephora), it’s similar to Gwen’s. In my opinion, the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani palette is more of an all in one, meaning I don’t need to search for a particular shadow from another palette to complete an eye look. If you like neutrals, you will love both of these palettes.
This palette has been on my wish list since it first came out but it used to be $58. When I saw it on sale at Sephora for $25, I was sold! Ulta has it on sale for the same price or you can purchase it online at Urbandecay.com. It’s a limited edition palette, so after reading this if you want to purchase it, I would get it now.
Keep in mind that Sephora and Ulta have a no questions asked return policy. If, after purchase you don’t like it or don’t want it for any reason, you can get a full refund. I like Sephora’s rewards program much better than Ulta’s.
There are 12 new colors inspired by Gwen Stefani, and 3 established colors from Urban Decay’s eyeshadow collection. I love the names Gwen chose; they remind me of the early 90’s era when I was in high school.
